The Mechanicsburg-North Rotary Club is pleased to announce its students of the month for November 2008.
Katherine Berry, daughter of Jon and Linda Berry, of Mechanicsburg. She is active in cross country, lacrosse, German club and is the vice president of the National Honor Society.
Michael Henry, son of Craig and Fran Henry, of Mechanicsburg. He is involved in marching band, jazz band, FBLA, Spanish club, archery club, National Honor Society, and National Foreign Language Honor Society.
Deandra Stitt, daughter of Leroy and Amy Stitt, of Newburg. Deandra is a Big Spring School District student enrolled in the Advertising Art & Design program. She is a published poetry author and the winner of the PAECT web design contest.
Jacob Standsfield, son of Bill and Sheri Standsfield, of Carlisle. Jacob is a Cumberland Valley student enrolled in the Automotive Technology program. He is involved in CV wresting and a member of the Safari Club International.

October 2008 - Students of the Month
The Mechanicsburg-North Rotary Club is pleased to announce its students of the month for October 2008. The Club recognized Ruhie Patil, a senior at Cumberland Valley High School; Charles Michaelis, also a senior at Cumberland Valley High School; Chandra Shoemaker, a senior at Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School and at Susquenita High School; and Darrielle Adams, a senior at Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School and at East Pennsboro High School.
Ruhie Patil is the daughter of Subodh and Deepa Patil of Mechanicsburg. She is a senior at Cumberland Valley High School. At Cumberland Valley, she is involved in Key Club, NHS, Latin Club, Orchestra, Peer helpers, THON, Mock Trial, Language Club, STAND, and FEA.
Charles Michaelis is the son of Kent and Denise Michaelis of Mechanicsburg. He is a senior at Cumberland Valley High School. At Cumberland Valley, he is involved in the Musical, Choir Ensemble, Quiz Bowl, Hand Bells, Latin Club, NHS and NFLHS.
Chandra Shoemaker is the daughter of Chuck and Deka Shoemaker of Duncannon. She is a senior at Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School and Susquenita High School. She is the captain of the cheerleading squad for Susquenita High School. She is planning to attend HACC for an AA degree in dental assisting.
Darrielle Adams is the son of Darien Adams of Enola. He is a senior at Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School and East Pennsboro High School. He is on the East Pennsboro football team and involved in SkillsUSA, and is a member of the CPAVTS IT Response Team. He is planning to attend college to further his studies in electronics.
