Students of the month - November 2009

Cumberland Valley

Luke Ogden, son of Michael and Nadine Ogden, of Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Luke is involved in Varsity Soccer and serves as the captain, spring musical, Choir Ensemble, Jazz Band, Symphonic Winds, French club, The Office club, and Concert Choir. He plans to major in secondary education with a concentration in history and will apply to Penn State University, Houghton College, and Bloomsburg University.

Gretchen Garland, daughter of Tim and Pam Garland, of Carlisle, PA 17015. Gretchen is involved in Choir, Symphonic Winds, Orchestra, Choir Ensemble, Key Club, National Honor Society, and the musical. She plans to major in music education and will apply to Lebanon Valley College and Messiah College.

Cumberland Perry AVTS

Aleksandr Kolesnik, son of Alex and Lyudmila Kolesnik, of Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Aleksandr is a Mechanicsburg Area School District student enrolled in the HVAC program. Aleksandr is a member of the National Technical Honor Society, SkillsUSA, Student Chapter of the NAHB and serves as treasurer, and is part of the International Builder Show (IBS) presentation team. He plans to apply to Pennsylvania College of Technology and Thaddeus Stevens for the HVAC/R program.

Amanda Cree, daughter of Sharon and Thomas Cree, of Franklintown, PA 17323. Amanda is a Northern York County School District student enrolled in the Health Occupations Program. She is an active member of the Health Occupations Students of America club and serves as the secretary. She is applying to Messiah College, Elizabethtown College, and Shippensburg University for the Occupational Therapy program.

MNRC new members Classification talks


Welcome!
On 8th October (Thursday) Glen Osborn and Ernie Zimmerman, MNRC new members gave classification talk. "Classification talk" is a 15 to 20 minutes speach to the club audiance where a new member introduces themselves.
